Sacred Heart College celebrated its 45th Graduation Day (for Bach-II) on 23-10-2021, in Kamarajar Arangam. The ceremony started with the Academic procession of the Chief Guest, Mr. M. Gunasekaran, Editor-in-Chief, Sun News, Rev. Dr. John Alexander, the Rector and Secretary of the college, Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj, the Principal, Rev. Dr. K.A. Maria Arokiaraj, the Additional Principal, Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, the Controller of Examinations and the Heads of various departments. The program commenced with the Thamizh Thai Vazhthu at 10.30 am. The Principal welcomed the dignitaries on the dais, the faculty and the students. The laurels and achievements of the college were displayed as a multimedia presentation by the Principal. The chief guest explicated the significance of real learning and self-learning. He advised the young minds to develop the art of loving oneself, learn to accept failures and insults in the cycle of life. He urged them to be responsible persons in social media. He advised the young graduates to avail and create opportunities to excel in this society, as they begin a new phase of their career.
 
The management of Sacred Heart College honored the Chief Guest with the “Award of Excellence” for his remarkable and outstanding service in the field of journalism. During the graduation, 710 students from Shift II, received their degrees. The students took pledge as new graduates to live up to their education. The ceremony ended with the National Anthem.
