| The National Cadet Corps is an organisation aiming at the development of leadership, character, comradeship, spirit of sportsmanship and the ideal of service, among the youth in educational institutions. |
| The motto of NCC is "Unity and Discipline". Unity implies our basic oneness and Discipline is the very bed-rock on which any growing nation is founded. |
| The National Cadet Corps is an organisation aiming at the development of leadership, character, comradeship, spirit of sportsmanship and the ideal of service, among the youth in educational institutions. |
| NCC activities are extended to village adoption blood donation, tree Plantation and visiting hospitals. Programmes like "adult literacy", 'each one teach one' and regular NCC parades (during weekends) are conducted. For NCC "C Certificate holders there is a special Entry in Army/ Navy/Airforce for entering into SSB (Short Service Commission Board ). The Institution has ex-Cadet Association. The ex-Cadets who are in regular Army Service give career guidance to the present cadets. |
