The inauguration of PG classes (Shift II) for the academic year 2023-24 was held on 04^th July, 2023 between 1.30 pm and 03.15 pm. The inauguration commenced with a prayer service led by Rev. Dr. Gandhi Kallarasan, SDB, the Campus Minister. Rev.Dr. Praveen Peter, SDB, the Secretary and Rector, welcomed the students to the college and introduced them to the Salesian Community. In his message to the students, he appealed to them to develop faith in God, and be more disciplined to achieve excellence. Rev. Dr. K.A. Maria Arokiaraj SDB, the Additional Principal, introduced the office bearers of the college. In his address to the students, he urged the students to improve their knowledge, to be sincere in everything and to develop skills that are needed to be successful in life. Rev. Dr. Maria Antony Raj SDB, the Principal gave the academic year message to the students. In his message he appreciated the college management, vice principals, heads, faculty members of the college for the greater achievement of 42^nd place in NIRF ranking. He also welcomed the first year PG students to the reputed institution. To acquaint the students with the general rules and regulations of the college, the disciplinary rules were read both in English and Tamil. Dr. S. Kalaiarasi, Dr. B. Govidan, & Dr. G. Devi the Deans of Students Welfare read out the rules and regulations of the college. The inauguration concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. G. Rajkumar, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Commerce (S-II). The inauguration was coordinated by Rev. Dr. Samson Shanmugam SDB vice-principal (Shift - II) and was assisted by Mr. D. Senthilkumar & Dr. R. Sankar, Fine Arts Association President (Shift – II) respectively.
