Department of Computer Science, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur District, organized an Intra Departmental IT Fest at the UG level for the 1^st and 2^nd year students. It is an annual programme organized by 3^rd year students. The concluding ceremony of Commune 2K22 was held on Monday, 14^th March, 2022 at the Carreno Hall of the College.

The various events of Commune 2K22 were Geek Speak, Connexion, Photobie, Web Smarts, Techie Talk, Clash of Coders, Media Mirchi, Techno Freak and Star of Commune. The schedule of event’s started on 03^rd March with Techno Freak prelims followed by other events scheduled in the alternative working days. Shortlisted candidates of prelims were announced periodically.

In view of Commune 2K22 on 14^th March, 2022 Workshops on the topics Wordpress, Google tools and Laravel were conducted for 1^st year, 2^nd year and 3^rd year students of both shifts respectively.  The workshop started at 9 am. The 1^st year students had their Workshop on Wordpress taught by the resource person Mr. N. Sakthivel, Asst Professor in Computer Applications (PG), Adhiyamman College of Engineering, Hosur. The 2^nd year students had their Workshop on Google tools taught by the resource person Dr. J. Merlin Florrence, Asst Professor in Computer Applications (UG), Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The 3^rd year students had their Workshop on Laravel taught by the resource person Mr. J. Jesu Raj, Software Engineer, Smart Print Technologies, Chennai along with Mr. John Benetic, Research Scholar in Computer Science, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur.

Fellowship meals were arranged by the Department of Computer Science to the final year students of both the shifts and faculty members of both shifts along with BCA faculty in the Guezou Hostel Dining Hall at 1:30 p.m. The programme resumed with Star of Commune event for the top five contestants in Commune 2K22 at 02 pm. Four rounds of event was conducted by the secretaries of the Associations of both shifts Mr. Dinesh and Mr. Mathivanan respectively. The contestants participated with more enthusiasm.

The Valedictory function started at 03:15 pm with the prayer song by Mr. Sai Sachin, Department of Computer Science, Shift I. Miss. L. Thulasi, Department of Computer Science, Shift II welcomed the Chief Guest, Heads of the Departments, faculties, organizers and participants. Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, COE and Vice Principal Shift-I (Admin) was the chief guest for Commune 2K22. He delivered the valedictory address and distributed prizes to the winners. The Cash awards and certificates were distributed to the winners of all the nine events.             Mr. A. F. Mathivanan of Department of Computer Science-Shift II proposed the vote of thanks. The event was organized and coordinated by the Presidents of both shifts Mr. C. Sathishkumar and Mr. M. Serlinraj respectively. The programme was well appreciated by all the participants, organizers and the management who made COMMUNE 2K22 a successful and joyous one.
