Dr. A. Xavier Susairaj, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Economics, Sacred Heart College, (Autonomous), Tirupattur, has presented a Research Paper on “Economic Analysis of Willingness to Pay (WTP) for improved Drinking Water in Rural Areas” - A Case Study in Vellore District at the 15^th Annual Asia Pacific Economic Association (APEA) Conference held at Humanities and Social Sciences Center, Bunkei Building, Fukuoka University, Japan on 1^st & 2^nd August 2019. The paper was widely commended by the participants. The Travel Grant was sponsored by the University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi.
