| Established in 1972, the department of Commerce has come a long way in the field of commerce education in Tirupattur. Self-funded B.Com course was started in 1986 and M.Com in 2002. The department feels proud that most of the students have become top managers in companies and chartered accountants of repute and leading entrepreneurs in the town. |
| The faculty offers regular consultancy services for PMRY programme. Recently the department conducted a national seminar on cyber banking funded by UGC. Recently established Department of Business Administration actively collaborates with the department of Commerce. |
